20 min. south is the USA, one hour north is Kelowna, 41/2 hours west is Vancouver, the Kootenays and Alberta lie East. Deer, big horn sheep, cougar, bear, rattlesnakes and scorpions along with a wide variety of bird live here. Great fishing, hiking, camping..anything outdoor, year round. It's a pretty good place to call home.
